Here's another western North Carolina tune learned from the playing of Osey Helton and J.D. Harris. Though Jason had played this tune for years, Rob first learned it in the living room of our pals and frequent collaborators Charlie and Nancy Hartness in Athens, Georgia, when Tricia Spencer and Howard Rains were in town for a visit and a house concert. Rob found himself comping on guitar for IO minutes, never wanting to leave the G chord. The rest is history. With very little digging you might find our two-hour version of this tune. ;)
