A courtship tune learned from Bruce Greene, who got it from Roy Bennett of Battletown, in Meade Co., KY. Like many fiddlers from communities along the Ohio river, Bennett played a number of tunes with a Scots-Irish flavor. Bruce told us Bennett was likely born in the 1890s. (JC - fiddle; RM - dulcimer)
